The process begins in the quenching zone, where water is sprayed into the gas stream. This not only cools the gas to its saturation point but also binds dust particles with water. The resulting water droplets, now containing dust and pollutants, are then removed from the gas stream using a high-performance mist collector with centrifugal separation.
Wet scrubbers operate in a closed water circuit to minimize water usage. A built-in screening system separates solids from the circulating water, keeping the system clean and efficient.
